Rising Phoenix Brianna
G6S normal
Black loudly spotted
Sire: Ravenwood Joker's Wild
Dam: Beaver Dam Good Charlotte
Bryanna's pedigree
Bry has a really soft, easy to milk udder.
Her dam is my favorite doe to milk. She stands well on the stand, no
kicking ect. but she can be snotty to get to the stand. Pretty,
colorful doe.
Milking doe. $295

Darkstar's brown doe- Darkstar and Warlock are two of my my very best
goats. Both goats were excellent in the show ring and both took grand
champion goat when shown. Both are black, but they both can produce red,
black or brown. Both goats have excellent body and fleece. Warlock is a
very dark goat. Both these goats are very gentle and well mannered
goats. This little brown doe is a twin (sister is black and is retained
for the herd). She has nice coverage and medium color fleece. I
expect that she will be show quality based on her parents. $500
This doe is weaned and ready to leave now.

Triplet red doe kids out of Sage and
Boeing - $400 for the lighter red kid on the left
darker red doe kid on the
right pending sale (Karyl)

Turmaline's buck kid
Pictured.
Purebred bottle
raised Nubian buckling. Absolutely beautiful kid. Long ears,
roman nose, and beautiful dam. Sired by
Cash.
Black with
partial belt. Twin.
Turmaline
is the dam. She has a buttery soft udder with really good teat placement
(picture coming) Pedigree is strong on Saada breeding. Both Sire and Dam
are CAE and CL tested clean and G6S normal. Will make very nice herd sire. $350.
Will sell as wether to the right person.
2 year old does:
Ophelia is a registered red
doe with some frosting on her ears. Her dam was a powerful doe
(Paddy) with incredibly soft fleece. Her sire (Tejus) was an excellent
show buck that was big, powerful and a real show stopper. Ophelia
lost her dam before weaning and I think is smaller because of it (she
was old enough that she did not take readily to the bottle and though
she did get the hang of it, I think it cost her some size, so while she
is only medium sized, I think her genetic potential may be for a bigger
goat) Her fleece is soft and very dense. She kidded without
assistance and is an outstanding first time mom. $600 with her
brown doe kid at side.
sale pending
Norval
Luca:
Medium brown well covered
doe. Has very dark goats in pedigree and should produce exceptional
color. This medium sized doe is an excellent brood doe and did a
wonderful job as a first time mom. Her pedigree makes her an asset to
any breeding program.
Sire: Tejus
Dam: Violet
$600 for Luca and her black
doe kid out of Warlock (NJ Fiber show Grand Champion)
sale pending
Norval
Red CAGBA doe.
Dam: LHF Phoenix
Sire: LHF Dionysus
$400
Norval
Lovely registered brown yearling doe. She is
holding her color well and has nice lock and dense fleece. She has a
nice straight topline and very good coverage. I would think she would do
well in the ring. Dam is Phoenix, Sire is Tejus. $500
D

Israel: Since I am keeping her doe kid from
this year, I have decided to sell Israel. She is very
consistent with my other black does. Her breeding is from Isa Jennings
line and Mohare farms line. Her dam was an absolutely beautiful doe
named MHF Chloe. Her sire was my favorite black buck. She has good
coverage and a lot of hair, that is ringlet curls. She is a very pretty
animal. $495. (sale pending)
Light red CAGBA doe yearling. If you are hoping to
improve kidding rates this doe may make a good choice since she herself
is a triplet. She is a nice breeding quality animal that although not
dark herself caries a lot of dark genetics. She is nice doe with
dense soft fleece and strong proper body with good spring of rib and a
long level back. She is a proven doe with excellent mothering instincts
and an easy kidder. This is an excellent choice for a the beginner goat
breeder.
Dam: Sage
Sire: Dionysus
Price: $300

Jason: Owned by a friend of
mine, Jason is a 4 year old proven buck. He threw some really nice kids
this year and would make a very nice herd sire for someone looking to
improve color and size in their goats. He is registered CAGBA and
his sire was a champion winning show goat. Contact Cathy at
hopkins@hky.com for more
information.

Black Bart: CAGBA registered
gray buck. Smaller buck with very uniform fleece and nice locks. His
horns are parallel with good space and nice backward curve. He has a
nice over all conformation, but I would have liked him to be larger. I
will be using him on select does this fall and he will be available for
sale after that. I breed early so he will probably be available in
October. $450
(Sale pending)
Chance: CAGBA registred red
buck with blue eyes. He has nice color and good coverage. He is not a
really big buck and he is pretty laid back. His dam is one of my all
time favorites. $350
(sale pending)
Red wether. He is
a nice boy with good
coverage and nice body. His dam is Sagebrush and his sire Wilber. $50
(sale pending)
Willow's wethered kid . This black kid is so fancy. He has good width of the horns. He has
lovely coverage and soft fleece. Willow's past kids have been very
pretty show goats. The twin brothers are so much alike. The color is
about the same, but this boy may have a bit more facial coverage.
I had a hard time choosing which of these boys to keep, but I have too
many boys so this lovely guy is available as a wether to a spinner or
pet home.
$50 (has been sheared)
(sale pending)

Bucks/Wethers 2011
***********
(I will wether most
bucks on request. Wether price is $75 each)

Russel Stover: Dark red 2 year old
registered CAGBA angora buck. (pictured as a kid) A son of our show
stopper Lavender Hill Farm Wilber, this guy is the go to guy if
color saturation is what you seek. If increased production is a goal,
this is your guy since his dam regularly produces triplets. He has a
good body and conformation. He has a medium grease fleece with typical
buck coverage and curl. I have way too many bucks, so I need to sell
some of my more interesting bucks. My loss is your opportunity. $500
(adult picture coming)
Cashgora wether yearling (pictured in his first fleece.)
His fleece does not need to be sheared. He will shed out like a
cashmere. This is a really nice fiber goat and I really would like to
see someone be able to incorporate this guy into their fiber herd. $35
Lavender Hill Farm Gideon: Gideon (kid picture at left) is a soft fleeced, flashy pinto buck with blue
eyes with coverage clear to his ears.
Sire: Fairy Tail Farm Tejus (supreme champion winning
buck and second in Nationals)
Dam: Tibet (grand father was Kia Farm Aaron (big show
winner)
Lots of Brooks Farm in the pedigree, but seems to be
recessive so would be a good outcross in a recessive herd.
He is a product of a dominant sire and a recessive dam.
He has not worked with my dominant herd.
For sale $450 (will wether on request
for a fiber pet)

Does For Sale - 2011

Black spotted Nubian doeling. Twin. Emma is dam, Cash is sire.
This is a line breeding on Joker (a Goldthwaithe Kaleidoscope son). She is
a very tall goat with loads of dairy style.
$300

Red CAGBA eligble doe kid.
Dam: Ireland
Sire: Boeing
Ireland did very well as a show
goat and has been a strong production doe in the herd. Boeing is from
two of my strongest show goats Darkstar and Wilber. Both his parents
have size, body, fleece and good color. Excellent doe for breeding herd.
Her fleece on shearing was excellent with incredible lock and wonderful
hand. A real asset to a spinning or breeding flock.
$350

Brown doe kid: CAGBA
registerable, this little doe has a beautiful soft fleece. She has a
really pretty lock and good coverage. She has an excellent straight
strong back and good conformation. She has grown well for being a
later born kid and shows great promise in all areas. She will make a really nice doe
for breeding or a spinning flock. Her grand-dam is very dark and
she has several very dark goats in her pedigree so I think she will
produce nice color.
On shearing she just blew me
away. This is the doe for fleece. Her locks are long with tight curls,
luster, soft and dense. A truly beautiful color fleece.
Dam: Scarlet (a Wilber
daughter)
Sire: Boeing 727
$350

Red doe out of Cocoa Puff
and Boeing. Cocoa's kid last year had a very nice fleece with beautiful
lock and hand and I expect much the same from this doe. Eligible for CAGBA registration. Both parents come from lines with
good color saturation and good fleece. She should be a nice
breeding doe, possibly show quality. $350
(there is a burr that I
didn't see when I took the picture on the front that is making the
fleece lay funny, but she had a really soft nice fleece when sheared
with a pretty lock and nice hand)
